Introduction

Geospatial Information Systems have emerged as indispensable tools for planning, resource management, and decision-making. The advanced capabilities of Geospatial Information Systems in storing, retrieving, analyzing, modeling, and mapping spatial data have greatly expanded their range of applications. Geographic information systems find applications in infrastructure management, mapping project beneficiaries, creating service facility maps, land use planning, conducting market analysis, impact assessment, and utilities management.

This course aims to equip participants with valuable insights, knowledge, and skills necessary for leveraging GIS tools in order to visualize real-world features, explore spatial data, and conduct comprehensive map analysis. • The course fee for on-site training includes facilitation, training materials, one coffee break, a lunch, and a Certificate of Successful Completion of Training. Participants are responsible for their travel expenses, including arrangements, airport transfers, visa applications, dinners, health/accident insurance, and any other personal expenses.
