Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Business Developer / Bidding Specialist to drive revenue growth through strategic business development, competitive bidding, and proposal management. The ideal candidate will have strong experience identifying opportunities, managing end-to-end bid processes, and building long-term client and partner relationships.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Business Development
  • Identify, develop, and pursue new business opportunities across public and private sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and growth opportunities.
  • Develop and execute business development strategies aligned with organizational goals.

 

Bidding and Proposal Management
  • Lead the end-to-end bidding process, including Expressions of Interest (EOIs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Quotations (RFQs), and tenders.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to gather technical, financial, and operational inputs for bids.
  • Prepare high-quality, compliant, and competitive proposals and bid documents.
  • Ensure timely submission of bids and adherence to client and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain and update a bid pipeline and tender tracking system.
  • Ensure timely processing of company compliant documents.

 

Negotiation & Reporting
  • Support contract negotiations and commercial discussions.
  • Prepare regular reports on bid performance, win/loss analysis, and business development activities.
  • Continuously improve bidding strategies based on outcomes and feedback.

 

Requirements & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
  • Minimum of 5 years’ proven experience in business development, bidding, or proposal management.
  • Strong understanding of tendering and procurement processes (public and private sectors).
  • Excellent proposal writing, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and proposal management tools.
